Workers will be tracked by the smartwatch

IT-integrator Gaskar Group has invested in Wokka Lokka, a company known for developing technologies that formed the basis for the Social Monitoring application of the Moscow City Hall. Together they plan to invest $ 1.5 million in creating "smartwatches" for builders, which will allow real-time staff redeployment and monitor the health of employees. Mainly, such a product may be of interest to developers for tracking employees since there is no economic sense for them to invest in low-skilled workers' health, experts warn.

On July 3, Regina Sadvokasova, the principal owner of Gaskar Consulting, a member of the Gaskar Group, joined the founders of Kemerovo  Vokkalokka LLC (brand Wokka Lokka), according to SPARK-Interfax. It received 45% in the company, 31.5% and 13.5%, respectively, were retained by the founders of Wokka Lokka - a minority shareholder of another company Gaskar Group Gaskar Integration LLC Igor Afanasyev and Yevgeny Shelyuta, another 10% received by the SEO of Wokka Lokka Alena Kropotova.

The deal was required to use the startup's technology to develop a smartwatch for workers at construction sites, the Gaskar Group said. They told Kommersant that it is planned to invest about $ 1.5 million in the system's development. Smartwatches will allow tracking the movement of workers at the sites and redistributing them, as well as taking into account vital signs. The cost of one set will be about 3 thousand rubles a month. "The owner of the construction company, who usually appears at the construction site in a suit once a week, will be able to reassign workers to the sites in real-time," explained Igor Afanasyev.
